Bahrain

This beautiful island lies in the Persian Gulf and is said to be the Biblical Garden of Eden where there have been inhabitants from ancient times. Today Bahrain is experiencing the same acceleration economical growth that Dubai did in the 90's this is largely due to their oil reserves. Bahrain is probably the most cosmopolitan country in the middle-east and it has developed this tolerance of other cultures and religions due to the boom it is experiencing where people from non-Muslim backgrounds are coming into the country to work and some settling there permanently.
