Aix en Provence

Aix is located in the south of France not too far from Marseille. The climate is pleasant all year round due to its location. With around 300 days of sunshine anytime is perfect for a visit to Aix. The city was built on hot springs which it has used to its advantage and created places with hot spring baths where people can go to relax and enjoy the natural hot water with all its minerals. The city is perceived as a very posh and upper class location with an academic feel to it. Visitors can enjoy the history, art and the numerous fountains that are scattered throughout the city that is sometimes referred to as the city with a thousand fountains.
