Algeciras is a Spanish port city in the southern region of Andalusia on the Strait of Gibraltar. The name Algeciras is derived from the Arabic al-jazeera (the island). Its modern harbour is one of the most important in Europe. The city has an incredible amount of monuments like the Chapel of Nuestra Senora de Europa or the medieval walls. There are some beautiful beaches around the area for you to enjoy lots of water attractions.
