Brussels

Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the Head quarters of the European Union and NATO. The bilingual city has French and Dutch as its official languages, and road signs are written in both. Many of the buildings in the old part date back to the 15th century. The Grand' Place-Grote Markt (Market Square) is a great place to spend some time wandering around and admiring the beautiful buildings, or sitting down on one of the many terraces having a good Belgian beer, or another tasty favourite, chocolate! Major attractions include The Museums Royaux des Beaux Arts-Koninklijke Musea voor Schone Kunsten, Manneken Pis, and the Arc de Triomphe. After a bargain - the daily Flea Market at the Marchaux Puces-Vlooienmarkt sells everything, you name it and you can probably find it!
