Chester

Chester is a historic city situated on the border between Wales and England. Founded by Romans, Chester has become an important trade centre during the Middle Age due to its busy port. One of the main tourist attractions is Chester Cathedral, started in 1092 as an Abbey and rebuilt from about 1250 in the Gothic style.
