Daytona Beach

Daytona Beach is located 54 miles from Orlando, in the central East Coast of Florida, not far from the Disney attractions. Its beach has 23 miles in length and more th an 500 feet in width at low tide. Also called the 'Racing Mecca' or the 'Birthplace of Speed', motor sports are one of the many activities to enjoy, being the Daytona International Speedway the main scenery. Other sports such as golf, fishing or kayaking can be easily practiced in the area. Daytona also offers a wide variety of shopping facilities that range from exclusive boutique and malls to antique stores, together with a great choice of dining venues and nightlife activities.
