Glasgow

Situated on the River Clyde, Glasgow is the largest city in Scotland and the third largest in the United Kingdom. Known as the "Second City of the British Empire" in the victorian era the city has been through vibrant growth over the last few centuries and is now home to many of Scotlands leading businesses and home to a diverse range of cultural attractions. Glasgow houses the largest public reference library in Europe, the Mitchell Library, a variety of theatres including the The Kings Theatre, Theatre Royal and the Citizens Theatre, four cathedrals and there are plenty of museums and art galleries, including the Burrell Collection, GoMA and Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Music lovers are also drawn to Glasgow which has one of the most exciting music scenes in Europe found in it's many pubs, clubs and venues.
