Ixia

Ixia lies at the North West part of Rhodes and boasts some of the best hotels. It receives a constant summer breeze making it ideal for wind surfing and sailing. The shingle beach runs along the main road close to most of the accommodation. The waves can be quite rough for swimmers so most hotels have pools and seating for those who prefer calmer waters. The nighlife here is laid back with only a few pubs and bars making Ixia a great place for couples, families or anyone after a more relaxing break. Alternatively if you prefer later nightlife Rhodes Town is only a short taxi ride away.
