Limassol Limassol is the second largest city in Cyprus, and is located in the Turkish side of the island. Limassol is a major port in the Mediterranean, and one of the regions most popular tourist destinations. Attractions include the large mediaeval castle, a number of museums, and the Public Garden which is home to a small zoo. Limassol is renowned for its several festivals including the Carnival and the Cyprus Wine Festival in September.
