Mainz Mainz is the capital city of Rhineland-Palatinate region, in Germany, close to the Rhine River. The city has some interesting Roman rests, such as the Roman aqueduct and the Drusus monument settled in the 17th century citadel, and also medieval remains like the Cathedral of St. Martin or the Iron Tower, a 13th century tower situated at the former Iron Market. Also picturesque is the Walk of Fame of Cabaret, a sidewalk with more than seven star shaped sculptures featuring names of cabaret celebrities.
