Montpellier

Montpellier is the Capital City of Languedoc Roussillon province in the south of France. The city boasts an impressive old town more than a thousand years old, plenty of mansions, chateaux and fountains to discover walking through its tiny streets. Its medieval history can also be discovered in museums such as Le Musée Antonin with about 300 reproductions of antique sculptures or Le Musée de l'histoire de Montpellier. But in the old town you also can find lots of restaurants, bars and shops and every morning, at the Place de la Comedie you can visit its interesting market. To the south for those who look for quiet places there are many pleasant isolated beaches.
