Naples

Naples is the capital of the Campania region and the province of Naples in southern Italy. Naples is famous for its historical roots in the Roman Empire and as an epicentre for art and culture. As a consequence there are hundreds of museums, galleries and archaeological sites to visit. The world famous dish, the pizza, originates from Naples as well as many fine wines and other cuisine. The close proximity of the city to two active volcanoes; Vesuvius and Phlegraen Fields, provide beautiful landscapes and natural wonder. The Neapolitan Riviera and the Mediterranean Sea provide the opportunity for swimming and water sports.
