Rome

Rome the capital of Italy is located in the west-central part of the country. Famous for its hilly landscape the city is also known as "The City of the Seven Hills”. Within Rome lies The Vatican City, the seat of the Roman Catholic Church and the home of the Pope. One of Rome's most popular attractions is The Colosseum, it is the largest amphitheatre built in the Roman Empire, and was once used for gladiatorial combat. When the sun goes down, the people come out. Rome is full of wine bars, restaurants, pubs, and nightclubs, and in the summer the cool streets are full of people waiting to enjoy the evening's events.
