Rotorua is a city which sits on the south shore of Lake Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty region on the North Island of New Zealand. The spa resort known for its geo-thermal activity, and there are numerous natural vents, hot pools and other geothermal features in and around the city. The numerous lakes in the area are in constant use and water sports such as, fishing and boating are popular activities. Take a free guided tour around Te Puia Park, ride a gondola up Mt. Ngongotaha, spend an afternoon in the Rainbow & Fairy Springs wildlife park, or visit The Buried Village. You won't get bored in Roturua!
