Side Side (pronounced 'See-day') is situated on the Mediterranean coast around 75km from Antalya, one of Turkey's largest cities. Side is a wonderful seaside resort which lies on a tiny peninsula 300m wide by 800m long. Despite its small size, it is an extremely popular tourist destination, but it has still managed to retain its strong air of authenticity. This can be attributed to its excellent ancient history and culture – there are a huge number of archaeological and architectural treasures all around Side's winding streets. For those who are not too interested in the history Side has fantastic beaches, water sports and trendy bars to enjoy.
