Tangier
Tangier is a city in Morocco, it is located on the northern Moroccan coastline where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic Ocean off Cap Spartel. The highest point in the medina (old town) 'Place de Kasbah' offers great panoramic views over the Bay. The beach is a popular tourist spot and a walking along the promenade is highly recommended, as is an afternoon's shopping trip to the vibrant bazaars and souks, be prepared to haggle! Other attractions include the Sultan's Palace for great examples of Moroccan art, the spectacular views of the straits of Gibraltar, and the tiled minaret of the Sidi Bou Abid mosque.
