Zagreb

Zagreb is Croatia's capital and largest city, it is located between the southern slopes of Medvednica Mountain and the northern bank of the Sara River. The city is divided into three parts; the thousand-year old Gornji grad (upper town); the 19th century Dolnji grad (lower town); and the modern post-war (WWII) Novi Zagreb (new Zagreb). Zagreb is called the “City of Museums” as there are more of them per square foot than any other city in the world. As night falls why not sit down in one of Zagreb's restaurants and enjoy the local specialities. Nightlife starts late and the locals love to party, so be prepared for a late night.
