Zell Am See In the state of Salzburg, Zell Am See is a lakeside town with an old town centre full of charm. Zell am See is one of the most important Austrian ski resorts. It is divided in three parts, Maiskogel with good slopes for beginners and intermediates, the all year glacial resort Kitzsteinhorn with guaranteed great snow, and Schmittenhohe just above Zell Am See. 130 kilometres of pistes and 54 lift systems and good slopes for all kind skill levels. Snowboarders have two fun parks and two half-pipes. Zell Am See is close to other resorts and with a car can makes a good base for your ski holidays. The town offers excellent nightlife with numerous traditional cafes, bars and very lively discos and nightclubs.
